Shocker - Fernandes Pops for Wichita State
Woodstock Academy and Expressions Elite guard Noah Fernandes committed to Wichita State on Sunday following his visit to their campus.
Fernandes opted to cancel his remaining visits in order to commit to Greg Marshall in what was literally a bit of a shocker to those following his recruitment.
He confirmed his decision on twitter Sunday night.

Fernandes previously starred at Tabor Academy where he was First-Team All New England in Class A of the NEPSAC last year and started to develop his reputation for being such a big game player.
That reputation was only furthered this spring and summer as he averaged a team high 12.9 points, 4.2 assists, and 1.5 steals for an Expressions team that finished 9-7 and qualified for the EYBL Finals at the Peach Jam. Fernandes was also instrumental in the team's run to the Hoop Group Summer Jam Fest championship in July.
What he may lack in size, Fernandes compensates for with toughness, which is a staple of Wichita State's program. In addition to that, he's very skilled with an instinctive feel for the game. He's also a better defender than he often gets credit for.
