Rosinski Makes Early Pledge

New England Recruiting Report | Thursday, June 4th, 2015

The University of New Hampshire landed a commitment from Kimball Union and D.C. Blue Devils big man Luke Rosinski on Wednesday while he was on campus for an unofficial visit.

Rosinski is a New Hampshire native who began his high school career playing for his dad at Pinkerton Academy, located just 30 miles southwest of UNH's Durham campus, before transferring to KUA.

After a successful first season in the prep ranks, it's been more of the same this spring as he's been the interior anchor for a D.C. Blue Devils squad that has made noise, earning scholarship offers for multiple New Hampshire products.

Rosinski is a powerful and rugged big man who brings a physical interior presence to the game along with a skill set both on the interior as well as stepping to the perimeter to make open shots.

New Hampshire had become the first division I school to offer him a scholarship and as he told the Union Leader on Wednesday, "I committed early, but I really feel confident in my decisions. It's a dream because it's Division I basketball and it's your state university..."

Rosinski took to his twitter account Wednesday to announce his decision while the D.C. Blue Devils posted a picture of the big man at his future home:

Congrats to Luke on his commitment to UNH. Very proud of how far he has come. #wildcats #d1bound @lukerosinski
