Rivard to Visit Georgia Tech
Earlier this month when we spoke with Northfield Mount Hermon's Laurent Rivard he told us that he had no favorites among his nearly 15 division I scholarship offers, and despite the plethora of great options, was still open to new suitors.
Well earlier this week the Canadian sharp-shooter got one when Georgia Tech head coach Paul Hewitt visited the NMH gym on Tuesday night.
Following a terrific performance in front of the ACC head coach Rivard is now scheduled to visit Georgia Tech’s campus on October 8th.
Notre Dame and George Washington have also been to the NMH gym this week and are both looking to set up visits as well.
Rivard has already visited Bucknell officially, is visiting Elon officially this weekend, and is in the process of scheduling another official to Pennsylvania after pulling out of his scheduled trip to Davidson. He’s been to Harvard, Columbia, Yale, Holy Cross, Northeastern, Vermont, and Brown unofficially.
