Providence Adds Wing

ESPN.com is reporting that Providence received a verbal commitment from Markus Crider, a six-foot-five swingman from Wayne High School in Huber Heights, Ohio.

Crider chose Providence over Dayton, Notre Dame, Michigan, and Wisconsin according to ESPN.

A versatile offensive player, Crider is a scorer who can put points on the board going to the basket or shooting to 20 feet.  He also has a strong body, good athleticism, and a developing mid-range game.

Crider is the first player to commit to Providence in the class of 2011.
