Tshiefu Ngalakulondi 2017

Proctor Academy and D.C. Blue Devils forward Tshiefu Ngalakulondi made a verbal commitment to St. Bonaventure on Wednesday, announcing his decision via his twitter account.

Ngalakulondi had collected a plethora of mid-major offers over the course of the last 15 months as well as invitations from both the American Athletic Association and the Atlantic 10.

The escalation in his recruitment came in correlation to his development. Always a physically gifted athlete, he boasts good size and length on the wing along with the ability to play high above the rim, but it was the progression of his skill set in recent years that helped take his game to another level.

Now, he's blossomed into a consistent perimeter shooter and pull-up threat as well as someone who can make athletic attacks of the rim. That progression is only likely to continue with the Bonnies as Mark Schmidt and his staff are a program known for their player development program.

Ngalakulondi becomes the fourth D.C. Blue Devils product to commit to a division I school in recent weeks following Geo Baker's pledge to Rutgers, Sukmail Mathon's to Boston University and Caleb Green's to Holy Cross. Together that foursome was the core of the Blue Devils program and helped them ascend into one of the top non-sneaker-circuit programs in the northeast.

Below are some of Ngalakulondi's highlights with the Blue Devils from the recent AAU season:
