New Jersey Guard Commits to UNH
New Hampshire landed a commitment from six-foot-three shooting guard Chris Orozco on Monday afternoon, less than 24 hours after his official visit.
Orozco is a two-time All-Bergen County selection at Tenafly High School in New Jersey. As a junior, he averaged over 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists per game in leading his team to the Big North Patriot League title. He ran with the New Jersey Gym Ratz on the AAU circuit.
Orozco is a long scoring guard with a college ready slashing game and consistent shooting range from the perimeter. He's also very proficient at getting himself to the three-throw line for easy points.
He is the first player to commit to New Hampshire in the class of 2012.
