New England well represented at Nike 100
Nike hosted 100 of the top underclassmen in the country this weekend at the Nike Elite 100 in St. Louis, Missouri. The event, which began on Thursday and ran through Sunday, included skill development and evaluation games in front of a select handful of scouts from national media outlets.
New England was well represented at the Nike Elite 100 including the likes of New Hampton’s Jeremy Miller, Cushing’s Jalen Adams, Tilton’s Terance Mann, Brooks’ Ikenna Ndugba, St. Andrew’s big man Terrell Brown, Northfield Mount Hermon’s Aaron Falzon, and incoming New Hampton forward Tyler Lydon.
Falzon earned praise from 247Sports.com’s Jerry Meyers who said, “Some will balk at this 6-7, 222-pound, 6-6 wingspan four man because he isn't athletic enough. But I'll take a smart, competitive, strong lethal deep shooter like Falzon most any day. He isn't just a good shooter. He is quite possibly an elite shooter. Add strong hands and a hard edged attitude, and you have a talented stretch four man.”
Meyer also had high praise for Lydon, saying he had "the markings of a high-major athletic stretch four."
