New England 2020 Rankings Feature Major Changes
After updating rankings in all six states earlier this week, today it is time to unveil New England rankings in the rising senior class of 2020.
There has been lots of movement in recent months with plenty more expected with the start of the school season right around the corner.
Putnam Science and PSA Cardinals guard Hassan Diarra currently holds top billing as the number one ranked prospect in the country but incoming Brewster Academy and BABC forward Matt Cross is right on his heels. DeMarr Langford and Jamal Mashburn Jr., future Brewster teammates from the Mass Rivals and PSA Cardinals respectively, are also ranked within national top 100 lists.
Meanwhile, Jordan Geronimo has shot all the way to five and there may not be a more intriguing prospect in the region this year as all eyes will be watching to see if he is indeed just scratching the surface of his potential and can back-up his break-out summer, in which case he will likely just keep rising.
The rest of the top ten is comprised of St. Andrew's and Albany City Rocks forward Myles Wilmoth, Sacred Heart and New York Rens wing Nate Tabor, Phillips Andover and Mass Rivals guard Dallion Johnson, Whitinsville Christian and Mass Rivals big man Justin Vander Baan, and St. George's and Middlesex Magic guard Tyler Kolek.
In total, the updated 2020 rankings include the top 50 returning prospects in New England's class of 2020.
