Recommendations

"Last season, Flynt had as productive and influential a first year as anyone I've coached at Tabor, and he's just getting started.  He's an elite three-point shooter, able to get his shot off quickly off the dribble, or on the catch.  And he's creative and tough with his finishes at the basket.   A tremendous young man, he respectful and hard working.  Unselfish and a proven scorer (19 ppg as a freshmen) he's a multi-threat guard with a tremendous ceiling."
- Chris Millette, Head Coach, Tabor Academy

"Flynt is an extremely versatile and explosive guard who plays high above the rim. He is an efficient scorer who uses his ball handling, change of pace and athleticism to score at the rim and in transition. He knocks down 3’s and has a great mid range game within the pick and roll making him a polished three level scorer. I think Flynt will continue to shine as his high school career goes on and has a chance to be a really special player at the next level!"
- Michael Crotty Jr, Director, Middlesex Magic

Scout's Take

Whitworth's size, skill-level, and productivity were all undeniable last year as a freshman. He shot the ball extremely well, had the handle to playmake, and was a scoring threat at all three-levels. This year though, based on what we've seen on film, it appears that his body and athleticism are now starting to catch-up and that's undoubtedly going to take, not just his game, but his long-term projection, to new levels.
