NERR & DBA Announce CT Skills Academy

The Connecticut Skills Academy will be an after school program designed specifically for serious high school players hoping to continue their careers at the next level.

Whether you are a graduating senior preparing for your first college season or a rising underclassmen hoping to showcase yourself to college coaches this summer, the Connecticut Skills Academy is just what you’re looking for to bring your game to new levels.

Former Quinnipiac University head coach Joe DeSantis and his staff will lead participating players through a six week curriculum designed to dramatically increase each player’s skill set and understanding of offensive concepts.

The curriculum will be presented in a building block approach with initial instruction being presented in the many facets of individual offense and then progressing towards incorporating other players on the floor with lessons in two-man game and eventually three and four-man game.

While Coach DeSantis and his staff provide top notch instruction, the New England Recruiting Report will be on hand to provide web coverage, as well as a detailed written evaluation for every player breaking down exactly what they need to work on to reach their goals.

Additionally, the Academy will also feature a one time informational session about the NCAA Clearinghouse so that players and parents both understand exactly what it takes academically to be eligible for an athletic scholarship.

Program Dates:  5/6, 5/7, 5/12, 5/14, 5/20, 5/21, 5/25, 5/29, 6/1, 6/2, 6/9, 6/10
