Momah Patriot League Bound
Brewster Academy and PSA Cardinals forward Bube Momah announced his commitment to Lehigh on Sunday night.
His pledge comes after Lehigh head coach Brett Reed spent the entire first day of the recruiting period in Wolfeboro, attending early morning strength workouts and staying through the day to watch open gym. Momah had taken an official visit to Lehigh's campus in late August prior to arriving at Brewster.
Momah is a Connecticut native who began his high school career at Farmington High School before transferring to Phillips Andover and most recently Brewster.
He is exceptionally long with a powerful and chiseled frame. That elite, and exceptionally rare, combination of physical tools gives him a high upside and potential versatility on both ends of the floor with a now-consistent motor and potentially improving offensive skill.
Momah had a particularly good showing at the NEPSAC Showcase in June, his first opportunity to play live in front of college coaches since before the pandemic.
