Michigan Swingman Pledges to URI
The University of Rhode Island landed their first commitment in the class of 2011 in six-foot-three swingman T.J. Buchanan from Kalamazoo High School in Michigan.
Buchanan is a versatile stat stuffer on the perimeter who averaged 13.5 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists per game as a junior last season.
The Michigan native was on URI's campus for his official visit this weekend and committed shortly afterwards citing Rhody's uptempo style, the coaching staff, and the opportunity to play in the Atlantic 10.
