Local Teams Featured in Prep Circuit Power 10
New England has four of the top six prep school programs in the country according to Prep Circuit's Post-Grad 10, which was released on Wednesday.
While Scotland Campus Sports and Massanutten Military Academy occupy the top two spots in the poll, the next four all go to local programs with Woodstock Academy coming in at 3, Putnam Science Academy at 4, Northfield Mount Hermon at 5, and Brewster Academy at 6.
Hargrave Military Academy, IMG Academy, CBD Montverde, and Fork Union Military Academy round out the top ten.
Woodstock currently sits at 20-1 on the season according to Prep Circuit with key wins over Hargrave Military Academy, CBD Montverde, New Hampton, and Sunrise Christian among others.
Putnam is 15-4 according to Prep Circuit and has been perhaps the most unpredictable so far. They have wins over Spire, Link Year, Massanutten, Mount Zion, Woodstock, and CBD Montverde but have also suffered some unexpected losses.
NMH sits at 14-2 on the season with wins over Sunrise Christian, Brewster Academy, and Hargrave Military Academy. They also have a big double-header on tap for the weekend with New Hampton and Brewster.
The Bobcats are 12-3 heading into the weekend with wins over Link Year Prep, St. Thomas More, New Hampton, and Vermont Academy and undoubtedly looking to avenge their first decision to NMH from less than two weeks ago.
All ten teams participated in November's National Prep Showcase and are eligible for what promises to be one of the most wide open fields March's National Prep Championships have ever seen.
