Ledo Transferring to South Kent

It was at this time last year that Ricardo Ledo opted to leave Bishop Hendricken High School and transfer to St. Andrew's School.  After winning back to back state championships during his first two years at Hendricken, and being the second half hero of the latter, Ledo chose to take his game to the grander stage of the NEPSAC.

In the year since, Ledo has blown up into one of the most highly regarded prospects in the national class of 2012 and seen recruitment from a wide variety of high major programs.  It began last summer when he stood out on his Expressions Elite team and continued this year at St. Andrew's as Ledo put up huge numbers immediately upon joining the NEPSAC.

It has been more of the same this spring, as he has shined at a variety of stops along the grassroots calendar and was recognized as one of the top five prospects in last weekend's "Best of the Best Skills Academy" presented by Under Armour.

Next season, he will take his game to the South Kent School and join what projects to be an absolutely loaded roster.  According to numerous reports, Ledo will team with the likes of highly coveted high-major big man Kadeem Jack, UConn committ Maurice Harkless, and another high-major big man in Derrick Randall.  Djurisic Hemanja and Darwin Billingsley are also expected to return to South Kent next year.

Ledo is currently in St. Louis, Missouri at the Nike Hoops Jamboree, which annually hosts the top underclassmen in the country.
