Hoop Mountain: Super Week I Recap III

Day three of Hoop Mountain’s Super Week I provided another full day of action.  Here were the standouts:

Jeff Oliveria - Gloucester High School - The 5’11 guard from Gloucester High School grew the reputation as one of the better shooters this week.

Charles Fisher - Central High - The junior combo guard from Waterbury has a nose for the basket, using his athleticism and creativity to finish in traffic.

Joe O’Brien - Malden Catholic - Joe continued his stellar play into the final full day. He’s made good decisions with the ball all camp and has shot it tremendously from three point range.

Jourdain Bell - Lee Academy - The Concord, New Hampshire native was one of best guards at camp. He was one of the most competitive prospects and combined that to score in a variety of ways.

Joe Bell - Lee Academy - The younger brother was almost equally impressive, but for him, he did a lot of that on the defensive end. He’s a tenacious defender that can really make his opponent uncomfortable when he’s guarding him.

Liam Harris - Kent School - The Kent School prospect played a solid point during camp. He displayed good vision and the ability to get the ball where his teammates could make a play.

Arnuad Boyer-Cillis - Boyer’s a 6’9” sophomore big man from Quebec. He’s a lefty that is that able to score with either hand.

Vincent Bastrash - 2015 Canadian combo guard with a very high motor. Always playing hard and makes the winning plays for his team.

Jean-Daniel Mathieu - Another 2015 Canadian. He’s extremely and can do a number of things on the floor.

Caden Dumas - Worcester Academy - The 6’6” Worcester Academy forward was one of the hardest workers at camp. Throughout the day he was always competing to get better and help his team win.

Charlie Crockett - Brooks School - Crockett was one of the best and most consistent players this week. He understands that he’s best on the block and is able to finish a number of ways there.

Ross Gerber - Kimball Union Academy - Gerber’s a 6’4” forward who is able to put it on the deck and get to the rim. While he’s a streaky shooter, he can get hot from the floor.

Andrew Wade - Bishop Moore Catholic - Wade came up to Super Week 1 all the way from Florida and made the most of his trip. Although he’s raw, his athleticism makes him an intriguing prospect.

Deandre Leslie - Commonwealth Academy - The CA product is still trying to figure out what position he is, but with his solid handle and athleticism, he was able to impress some coaches this week as he’s only a rising sophomore.
