Day two of Hoop Mountain Super Week I Camp at Roger Williams College saw a variety of players perform well:

Damion Square - Secondaire Cave - Damion has displayed an excellent all around game so far in camp. For a point guard, he rebounds the ball well. On offense, he can either get to the rim and finish or pull for a midrange jumpshot.

Cole Stairs - St. John’s HS - The 2017 big may be the best post player in the West Division. He’s very efficient around the rim and has an array of post moves. Cole is also a strong rebounder on both ends of the floor.

Akim Sanni - Hyde - Akim is a long, athletic forward has competing very hard throughout camp. He’s been active on the boards and has been able to finish through contact the whole morning.

Connor MacIsaac - Malden Catholic - The Mass Elite big man has really come on over the spring. He’s able to beat opposing big’s up the floor and is also able to draw them away from the hoop because of his touch from 15 feet.

Marcus Zegarowski - Hamilton Wenham - Marcus’s strong play from Day 1 has carried over to Day 2. The point guard is excellent is transition where he can really make the most of his quickness.

Dante Christian - Brooks School - Dante’s another quick guard at this camp. When he’s able to get into the paint, he finishes a majority of the time. He’s also done a nice job on the defensive end as well.

Chandler Jones - Commonwealth Academy - One of the more athletic players at camp, Jones is always putting his athleticism to use when attacking the rim. He can also step out and hit the outside shot.

Joe O’Brien - Malden Catholic - Small, but very quick point guard. He always has his head up looking for the open teammate and delivers the ball right where it’s supposed to go.

Connor Joy - Greenfield High School - Has played excellent defense throughout camp so far because he understands how to use his speed and quick hands to bother the opposing player.

Joe Lewis - St. John’s HS -  Another one of the top post players in the West division. He’s a great rebounder and also has some solid moves in the post.

Will Dubow -Salisbury School -  A big, long post player that uses those tools to block shots consistently. He has a solid handle and can hit shots from outside.

Fabian Baxter - Westmont HS - The 2017 Canadian guard has started to make a name for himself in camp. He’s very strong, and quick. The combination allows him to get to the rim with ease and finished with contact.

Geoff Gray - Newton South HS - Strong, lefty guard that can do a number of things. He’s displayed a nice shooting stroke and good vision so far.

Tim Preston - Lawrence Academy - The Lawrence Academy guard has been impressive today. He’s shown the ability to not only shot from three, but also make some tough floaters in the paint.

Kevin Mannix - Barrington HS - Strong skilled guard, that can get hot from behind the arc. He also rebounds and competes on the defensive end on a consistent basis.

Marcus Azor - East Middle School - For only a rising freshmen, Marcus has a very high basketball IQ. He’s always talking on defense and looking to get his teammates involved.

Sultan Olusekun - Belmar Hill - The Metro Boston point guard has been impressive both days. He’s a very heady player and is always trying to create something on offense.
