Holy Cross Adds a Big

Holy Cross landed a commitment on Friday from six-foot-ten center Matt Husek from Bethlehem Catholic High School in Pennsylvania.  Husek ran with the New Jersey Cyclones on the AAU circuit, playing alongside a number of other Ivy and Patriot League prospects.

The six-foot-ten big man has the type of size that isn't easily matched in the Patriot League along with a polished interior skill set including good hands and feet, the ability to score over both shoulders and knock down short jumpers with a soft touch.

Husek is the third player to commit to Holy Cross in the class of 2013, joining five-foot-ten point guard Anthony Thompson from Bullis High School in Maryland and six-foot-six forward Malachi Alexander from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Maryland.
