Heron Transfers to Sacred Heart
ESPN 25 sophomore Mustapha Heron has transferred into Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury, Connecticut after leaving Wilbraham and Monson Academy over the weekend.
The six-foot-four Connecticut native began his career at the Massachusetts prep school, playing both his freshman season and then the first month of his sophomore season before reportedly leaving the team midway through a weekend tournament in New Jersey.
Sacred Heart competes in Connecticut's state association, the CIAC, and because Heron is transferring in from the prep school ranks, he'll be immediately eligible to play when Sacred Heart's season begins on Wednesday.
He'll be arguably the best overall prospect in the CIAC from day one and makes Sacred Heart the overwhelming favorite in Class S, the smallest of the CIAC's four divisions.
