Garcia Earns D2 Scholarship
Jon Garcia won a pair of state championships in the MIAA and did just about everything a player can do in a high school career during his time at Putnam.
Everything that is accept earn a scholarship.
Following his high school career Garcia opted to attend nearby Springfield Commonwealth Academy for a post-graduate year, and now, nearly two months after his arrival, he has accepted an athletic scholarship to division II Dominican College and will sign his Letter of Intent on Friday according to a tweet from the program's twitter account.

Tornado's (@CATornados) November 12, 2015During his brief time at Springfield Commonwealth, Garcia has proved both that he's capable of being the same high level defender against higher levels of competition and also that he's a true point guard with good size, length and distributing skills.
He is the second SCA post-grad to earn a full scholarship following Spencer Foley's commitment to Canisius last month.
