First 2025 Frosh/Soph #E75 List Drop

Annually, following the conclusion of the Frosh/Soph Elite 75, we list the top 75 participants we saw at the event.

For those that follow the region closely, this event serves as a great look at the pipeline of talent making it's way through the ranks in the near future.

To kick off the release, here are the first five names we are revealing that have been named to the Frosh/Soph Elite 75 list.

Derek Swartz, Portsmouth: The big 6'5" guard has made rounds due to his high-level play at such a young age. A true sophomore, Swartz brings an advanced ability to process the game along with an impressive blend of scoring and athleticism to really change the contests he plays in.

Maxxwell Thorpe, NMH: The rising sophomore big is primed for a big role with NMH's system moving forward, earning a nomination to the Elite 75. Thorpe has a traditional rim-running skillset in his bag with great hands in the post to score with touch or alter the shots that come his way.

Ayual Ayual, Holland Tech: An incoming freshman at one of Boston's most competitive high school programs, Ayual will be one to watch. His ability to move so fluidly at his size is eye-catching, and as he continues to develop as a threat to score off entry passes to the post, his game will only improve.

Alex Weaver, Windsor: The young point guard has a varsity season under his belt already and will assume a major role once again at Windsor. Weaver sees the floor extremely well to get others involved, while he can get himself a bucket with his tight, quick ball-handling skills.

Jahmez Reaves, Frederick Gunn: Reaves will again be a focal point at Frederick Gunn this season as he enters his sophomore year. An off-ball guard, Reaves stands out with his high-energy slashing skills, and his ability to change the game defensively, as well as being a rebounder in the back court.

Stay tuned as we continue to release more names down the line.
