Fairfield Lands a Shooter
Fairfield has picked up their second commitment in the class of 2013 with Stephen Smith, a six-foot-seven forward from LaSalle College High School in Pennsylvania, making a verbal commitment on Tuesday.
Smith is a product of the Jersey Shore Warriors AAU program and is coming off a tremendous month of play during the July evaluation period in which he distinguished himself as one of the best pure shooters the class of 2013 has to offer in the northeastern region.
In addition to his shot-making, Smith will provide Fairfield with a versatile forward who is capable of playing two different positions. He joins Mid-Atlantic Select guard Doug Chappell in Fairfield's 2013 class.
