Elite 75 Frosh/Soph is One Month Away!

The Elite 75 Frosh/Soph Showcase is returning next month on the evening of September 8th at Starland in Hanover MA.

This prestigious event has been around for more than a decade and seen numerous participants excel on the highest levels of Division I basketball to the NBA. Some participants that you may recognize from their time in the NBA are Andre Drummond, Noah Vonleh, Nerlens Noel, Michael Carter-Williams, Wenyen Gabriel, Bruce Brown, Georges Niang, and Terance Mann.

Drummond is still active in the league playing for the Chicago Bulls and has achieved two All-Star selections, as well as an All-NBA selection as the veteran enters his 12th season. Carter-Williams played for the Orlando Magic this past season and won the Rookie of the Year award for the 2013-14 NBA season.

Reigning NBA Champion Bruce Brown who just signed a two-year $45 million dollar deal with the Indiana Pacers jumped onto the scene at the Elite 75 in 2014. Jermaine Samuels shined at the Elite 75 in 2013 and just earned himself a two-way deal with the Houston Rockets yesterday for his strong performances in the G-League this past season and most recently in the Summer League.

Georges Niang just signed a three-year $26 million dollar deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers after shooting over 40% from three in the past five seasons. LA Clippers wing Terance Mann has carved out a great career at the highest level thus far and is another name who staked his claim in the best of the best at the Elite 75.

Some more recent prospects who participated in the Elite 75 include Taylor Bowen, TJ Power, Donovan Clingan, and Papa Kante. All of the aforementioned names were top prospects for their grade and will have a shot at standing out at the highest levels of Division I basketball.

It is evident that the Frosh/Soph Elite 75 features the best of the best every time it takes place, and this year will be no different. Following the conclusion of the event we will spend time highlighting and naming the top 75 prospects who participated in it as we track their careers throughout high school.

We are very excited for the event and are looking forward to bringing the top underclassmen from the New England region all to one area. To nominate players please email us at [email protected].
