Elijah Crawford Commits to Stanford

This past weekend, Brewster Academy 2024 6’2” point guard Elijah Crawford shared his commitment to Stanford University, despite receiving offers from numerous schools, including Xavier, Wichita State, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, New Mexico State, South Carolina, SMU, Boston College, Providence, UCF, and more.

He only recently came to New England, transferring to Brewster this past summer from Legacy Early College in South Carolina, where he was ranked 2nd in the state on the 247Sports Top-200 2024 Rankings, as well as 13th in his class among point guards. The team was ranked 7th in the state of South Carolina at the end of the season.

Prior to that, he began his high school career at Augusta Christian, located in Georgia but competing in the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA). He earned SCISA Region 1-AAA Player of the Year honors for his performance, averaging 20 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals, leading all of SCISA-AAA in steals per game.

More recently, Crawford began this past summer with The Skill Factory on the Nike EYBL Circuit. Some New Englanders are already aware of the pure scorer’s talents, as he dropped 20 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists against Expressions Elite in Session I.

He also earned Second Team honors for his performance at Session II, averaging 20 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals throughout the event. He was also named Breakout Player of the Session.

Crawford then began competing with Team Thad from Tennessee for the remainder of the EYBL Circuit following these first two sessions. He continued his success, scoring 18 and 15 in wins against JL3 and All Ohio Red respectively, as well as numerous additional high-scoring outings.

This year, he is all set to begin playing for Brewster Academy, alongside plenty more elite prospects. Then he takes his talents to the Pac-12 to compete with Stanford for the 2024-25 year.
