Duncan Robinson joins The Upside Podcast
The Upside Podcast is back for 2020 and our latest guest is none other than New England native Duncan Robinson who graduated from Governors Academy, did a post-graduate year at Phillips Exeter Academy, and played for the Middlesex Magic.
Robinson is a classic late-bloomer who was just a 5-foot-7 freshman at Governors Academy before growing another foot-plus. He spent his freshman year at D3 Williams College before transferring to Michigan. He went undrafted in 2018, spent last season boucning between the Miami Heat and their G-League affiliate in South Dakota, and is currently in the midst of a breakout season.
Robinson has started 30 straight games for a Miami Heat team that is off to a 26-10 start. He leads the NBA in effective field goal percentage and true shooting percentage and averaged 13.9 points per game while shooting 53% from the field, 50% from the three-point line, and 100% from the free-throw line in the month of December.
