Duke Selected for Adidas’ USA Select Team

Cushing Academy and Mass Rivals 2018 guard David Duke was one of twenty players selected from around the country selected to travel to Italy to compete in the Adidas EuroCamp this week as part of two USA Select Teams.

Duke's squad is coached by longtime Virginia Tech head coach and current ESPN college basketball analyst Seth Greenberg and also includes the likes of David McCormack, Lugentz Dort, Courtney Ramey, Jules Bernard, Nassir Little, Reggie Perry, Joey Hauser, Brock Cunningham, and Joseph Wieskamp.

A second USA Select Team will feature Zion Williamson, Cameron Reddish, Romeo Langford, Nas Reid, Darius Garland, Javonte Smart, Quentin Grimes, E.J. Montgomery, Jordan Brown, and Jahvon Quinerly.

Those twenty players will represent the United States as they compete against other top young players from countries around the world in an event that is always a must attend for NBA and professional scouts from around the world.

They began the week with a brief training camp in Atlanta before flying to Italy on Tuesday. The tournament - located in Treviso, Italy - officially begins on Friday and runs throughout the weekend.

The tournament has produced 93 NBA Draft picks in its 15 year history including the likes of Brandon Ingram, Jaylen Brown, Thon Maker, Isaiah Thomas, and Dennis Smith in recent years.
