Desrosiers Visits Purdue and Marquette

Carson Desrosiers is taking two unofficial visits this week as he’ll visit the campuses of Purdue and Marquette.

In addition to Purdue and Marquette he has also taken unofficial visits to Arizona State, Providence, Stanford, Syracuse, and UNLV.  All of those schools have offered scholarship as have many others.

“He has many other offers, but at this point these schools seem to be the ones to intrigue him the most,” Rivals head coach Vin Pastore said of the schools which his star center has visited.  “However, Carson has not ruled out other schools at this point and plans to play through the July live period before making any commitment.”

Desrosiers first emerged as a high-major prospect last summer while playing with his Rivals team over the July live period as his incredibly rare combination of size and perimeter skill, in addition to his prowess blocking shots, caught the eye of a number of college coaches.

He again played to rave reviews again this past April, earning national media recognition for his performances at both the Pittsburgh and Providence Jam Fests.
