Dartmouth Announces Class
HANOVER, N.H. — Dartmouth men's basketball head coach Paul Cormier today announced the seven members of the Dartmouth Class of 2014 that will vie for spots on the Big Green squad this fall with the 11 returning members. Six hail from the United States, while one is an international student-athlete.
The seven men’s basketball student-athletes enrolling at Dartmouth in the fall are:
• Gediminas Bertasius, a 6-5 forward from Vilnius, Lithuania who attended Marianapolis Prep School in Connecticut;
• Jenieri Cyrus, a 6-3 shooting guard from Golsboro, N.C., out of Eastern Wayne High School;
• David Eads, a 6-0 point guard from Austin, Texas out of Lake Travis High School;
• James Herring, a 6-5 wing from Brooklyn, N.Y., who attended Phillips Exeter Academy;
• Nick Jackson, a 6-5 forward from Grandview, Mo., who attended Mercersburg Academy in Pennsylvania;
• Tyler Melville, a 6-2 guard from Plano, Texas out of Plano West before playing a post-grad year at The Hun School; and
• Kevin Mulquin, a 6-8 power forward from Laytonsville, Md., out of Georgetown Prep before playing a post-grad year at Hill School in Pennsylvania.
Practice for the upcoming 2010-11 basketball season will begin on Oct. 15.
