Cole Lands First Offer

Bonney Eagle High School and MB Nation rising senior point guard Dustin Cole scored his first full scholarship offer on Wednesday after hearing from the coaches at division II Franklin Pierce.  

The news was first reported by the MB Nation twitter page:

“Dustin Cole (Nation 2014) offered a full scholarship by NE-10 power Franklin Pierce. #GreatNews”

Cole is widely considered to be one of the top point guards in New England’s 2014 class and had generated a significant amount of interest at both the division I and II levels, and so a full scholarship offer was widely expected to be only a matter of time.

Franklin Pierce advanced to the Elite 8 of the division II NCAA tournament last spring and is losing starting point guard and two-time NE-10 Player of the Year, Eric Jean-Guillaume.
