Coaches vs. Cancer & Scholar Roundball Classics on tap for this weekend

A terrific weekend of prep school action is on tap at Babson College beginning with the third annual NERR Coaches vs. Cancer Classic on Friday followed by the 7th annual Scholar Roundball Classic.

The action tips off Friday afternoon with a 4:30pm tip between the Brooks School and Holderness School. Subsequent match-ups include Gould vs. Williston Northampton, Wilbraham & Monson vs. IMG Academy, and Rivers vs. Phillips Academy.

This event has helped to raise thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society in recent years with proceeds going directly to that incredible cause.

The Scholar Roundball Classic will once again feature some of the top academic programs and prospects, not just from New England, but from the northeast region and beyond. Schools like Phillips Exeter Academy, Phillips Academy Andover, Choate Rosemary Hall, Northfield Mount Hermon, Blair Academy, Hill School, Loomis Chaffee School, and others are among the most exclusive private institutions in the country.

This event is also loaded with talent as each and every team in attendance has numerous college basketball prospects on their team including prospects already committed to places like Yale, Harvard, Stanford, Northwestern, and others.

The event will also feature six of the top 8 ranked seniors in New England (Simisola Shittu, Cormac Ryan, Nate Laszewski, A.J. Reeves, David Duke, and Anthony Nelson) along with top ranked underclassmen including Jaiden Delaire, Maxwell Lorca-Lloyd, Noah Fernandes, Daman Tate, Taelon Martin, DYondre Dominguez, Matt Cross, and Terrence Clarke.
