Clarke & Lecque transferring to Brewster
With the July live period now over, some of the top prospects from around the country are announcing their plans for the upcoming school season.
Oak Hill Academy in Virginia made headlines over the weekend by landing two New York City prospects in Archbishop Molloy's Cole Anthony and Chris the King's Kofi Cockburn.
On Monday evening, the headlines were all geared towards Brewster Academy as Terrence Clarke, New England's top rising sophomore and a top national prospect, announced he would be transferring from the Rivers School.
Clarke wasn't the only prospect to announce he'd be transferring to Brewster on Monday night though as he was joined by Jalen Lecque, a five-star prospect in the national class of 2019 and one of the most explosive athletes in the country.
Lecque is a New York native who spent last season at Christ School in North Carolina and ran with the New York Rens on the recent Nike EYBL circuit. He's likely to bring interest from both blueblood college coaches and NBA scouts alike as he's spoken on the record in the past about jumping straight to the draft.
