Clarke Invited to USAB

Earlier this week it was announced that incoming Beaver Country Day freshman Sheyheim Odom was invited to October's USA Basketball Junior National Team mini-camp.

On Tuesday, incoming Brewster Academy sophomore Terrence Clarke became the latest local prospect to be invited to the prestigious camp.

More than just a camp, the invitation includes Clarke in all USA Basketball Junior National Team initiatives moving forward including year-round life skills initiatives, health and wellness support, and additional mini-camps scheduled for April and July as part of USA Basketball's expanded program in conjunction with the NBA, NBA Players' Association, and NCAA.

This is USA Basketball's 10th October mini-camp and the largest one yet as the field has now expanded to include 80 players from around the country. Typically, selected players also correlate to the upcoming games for the following summer. In 2019 USA Basketball will compete in the Nike Hoop Summit, FIBA Americas u16 Championship, and FIBA u19 World Cup.

While Clarke is just a sophomore, his selection is no surprise given he is a concensus top three prospect in the national class of 2021 and has already participated in a number of national invitation-only events including the NBA Top 100 Camp and Nike Elite One Hundred among others.

The 6-foot-6 Expressions guard spent his freshman year at the Rivers School and made his national ascension during the second half of the recent EYBL season.

Below are some of his summer highlights.
