Carrigan ends up at Eastern Florida State College
Dimon Carrigan will spend the rest of the year at Eastern Florida State College, BABC announced via their twitter account earlier this week.
Carrigan helped Cambridge Rindge & Latin to consecutive MIAA state championships in 2016 and 2017. This summer, he starred for BABC and took his recruitment to the highest levels after leading the EYBL in blocks.
He was expected to do a post-graduate year at Woodstock Academy but only ended up spending a few days at the Connecticut prep school this fall before transferring to Bunker Hill Community College, where he spent the first semester of this year. He averaged 19.6 points, 17.9 rebounds, and 7.2 blocks per game through 14 games for BHCC so far this year according to the Boston Globe.
Carrigan now heads to Eastern Florida State College, where he will spend the rest of this year as well as next season, before having two years of eligibility remaining and the potential to transfer to a division I school following his graduation.
