Cabassa Earns Scholarship

Holderness School senior forward Daniel Cabassa made a verbal commitiment to Post University last Thursday, accepting a full athletic scholarship offer from the NCAA division II school.

The New York native had accumulated multiple scholarship offers over the course of his senior season but Post was the very first to offer back in September shortly after he wrapped up his summer with the D.C. Blue Devils.

First year Post head coach Marc Kuntz was especially familiar with Cabassa after previously serving as an assistant coach at nearby UNH.

Cabassa is an athletic forward who plays above the rim, doesn't mind being physical inside, moves well, and has an under-rated shooting touch facing the basket.

He joins Sukhmail Mathon to become the second member of Holderness' 2017 class to accept a full scholarship offer. He is the sixth member of the D.C. Blue Devils' 2017 class to earn a full scholarship.
