Bryant Gets a Steal in Murray

Bryant landed a big steal on Thursday with a commitment from Jaylen Murray. 

"Juju" Murray is currently in his post-graduate year at Springfield Commonwealth after making his New England debut a year ago with Putnam Science Academy. Prior to that the New York City native starred with the New York Lightning on the EYBL and at Cardinal Hayes High School. 

Murray had wide-ranging recruitment that included high-major suitors prior to the pandemic and was still one of the best available guards left on the board in the class of 2021. 

He is highly skilled both off the bounce as well as with his jumper and plays the game with a flair that has helped him develop a big following in his local NYC area. 

Murray is the second member of SCA's 2021 class to commit to a division I school so far this year.
