Bridgton’s Salzberg Earns Scholarship
Bridgton Academy post-graduate guard Ryan Salzberg made a verbal commitment to Daemen College earlier this week.
Daemean is an NCAA division II school in Amherst, New York.
Salzberg took to his twitter account to announce his decision.

Salzberg has been a staple of the Wolverines' program for the last two years, arriving as a young senior who had yet to grow into his body and then establishing himself as a clear scholarship caliber prospect.
"I loved Ryan the day he said he belonged at Bridgton with Bobby "Buckets" Planutis," Bridgton Academy head coach Whit Lesure said. "We will miss him everybody but it's a great fit for Coach MacDonald. Ryan is bound for success and ready to make believers out of a lot of folks."
A big southpaw guard with a bit of an unorthodox style, Salzberg went largedly under-recruited despite putting up numbers in Class AAA of the NEPSAC and earning post-season All-New England honorable mention nods.
Below are some of his season highlights.
