Bradanese Earns Scholarship
Billerica Memorial High School senior forward Josh Bradanese accepted a full athletic scholarship offer from Philadelphia University on Wednesday.
An NCAA Division II school competing in the Central Athletic Collegiate Conference, "Philly U" is coached by Herb Magee, who has been at the helm of the program for the last 49 years, already won over 1000 games, been enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame and is widely known as "The Shot Doctor" because of his expertise in shooting mechanics.
Bradanese, a product of the New England Storm AAU program, took to his twitter account to announce his decision on Wednesday.
Proud to announce my commitment to attend college and play basketball at Philadelphia University! #GoRams

Bradanese also went on to tweet, "Huge thank you to @FennisDembro87 [Storm and BST director Rick Gorman] and the Storm, as well as @djbwpi003 [former WPI guard and Storm coach David Brown] for helping me get this far #BST."
A much improved 6-foot-6 forward, Bradanese started to make a name for himself last spring with the Storm. He's continued to take his game to new levels since, taking his recruitment to new levels in the process, and putting together a terrific first half to his senior season.
Now, he's a player who can both score around the basket as well as stretch opposing defenses out to the three-point line with his shooting range.
Last month, Bradanese set a Billerica record with 40 points in a game against Haverhill. Below are the highlights.
