Boston University Adds Another

D.J. Irving a six-foot point guard from Archbishop Carroll High School in Philadelphia committed to BU recently.  Irving is the 7th player in the class of 2010 to verbal to the Terriers and the 6th Philadelphia product of the group.

He joins 6’5” small forward Travis Robinson, 6’8” power forward Dominic Morris, 6’1” shooting guard Mike Terry, 6’8” big man Anthony Mayo, 6’4” shooting guard Malik Thomas, and 5’9” point guard Henry Gaskins in head coach Pat Chambers’ first recruiting class.

"Up there, they treat you like family. They treated my family like family. It was nice,” Irving told the Delaware County Times.  “And I had heard good things about coach Chambers. When he talks, you get chills. He should be a professional speaker or something. I just feel so comfortable with him and coach Daly."
