Bolton Bound for Utah State
Bonzie Colson wasn’t the only St. Andrew’s senior to make a verbal commitment this morning as Henry Bolton also announced his decision at an all-school meeting.
Bolton committed to Utah State after taking an official visit to the school this weekend.
“The campus was amazing,” Bolton said. “They have great fan support. I really liked the coaching staff, they’re in a great city, and the people were very friendly.”
The move out west also enables Bolton to play his college basketball close to his mother, who lives in the state of Washington.
“She’ll be able to see me play,” Bolton told the New England Recruiting Report. “It’s only an hour flight as opposed to about six or seven now.”
Like Colson, Bolton also ran with the BABC during the recent EYBL and AAU season. They join Tyler Nelson (Fairfield) to give BABC three seniors who have already accepted full division I scholarships.
Bolton is a power combo-guard who can play on and off the ball and has a long history of being able to put points on the board.
He’ll join a Utah State team that is widely known to have one of the most efficient offenses in all of college basketball.
