Bob Hurley Coming to New England this Summer
For the third consecutive year Bob Hurley Sr. will be coming to Massachusetts to conduct a one day coaching clinic on August 14th. But that will be just the final day of an exciting week of basketball as Coach Hurley will be conducting a skills and drills camp from August 10th – 13th. The week of activities is being called the “Coach Hurley Ultimate Experience”.
The coaching clinic will include: a talk on X’s on O’s; round table discussions; question and answer sessions; an explanation of Coach Hurley’s favorite drills and plays; and in depth conversations on basketball philosophy and how players experience the game today. The clinic will also include a complimentary continental breakfast and lunch along with a pair of reebok sneakers and a polo shirt for all participating coaches. Space is limited to the first 50 registered coaches and the cost is $250/coach with a maximum of two coaches from the same program.
The skills and drills camp will be the first time Coach Hurley has headlined a camp in New England. During the four day camp, Coach Hurley will instruct students on his favorite shooting, dribbling, passing and defense drills. It will also include strength and conditioning sessions, special guest speakers, and daily drills, games, and competitions. The camp is open to boys and girls, grades 3-8, but is limited to the first 200 registered players.
Coach Hurley has over 900 wins as a head coach including 25 state championships and 3 national championships throughout his 35 year career.
