B.C. Goes Back to Cali

While first year Boston College head coach Steve Donahue has exceeded expectations in the ACC in his debut season in Chestnut Hill, he continues to build for the future on the recruiting trail, landing his sixth commitment in the class of 2011 this weekend.

Jordan Daniels, a five-foot-eight point guard from Etiwanda High School in California, pledged to the Eagles on Saturday, becoming the fourth player from California to do so in the class of 2011.

Daniels ran with Pump n'Run on the AAU circuit and was one of the highest rated point guards left available on the market.  Best known for his speed, quickness, and playmaking with the ball in his hands, Daniels may be undersized compared to most high-major lead guards but compensates with terrific intangibles.

He joins Ryan Anderson, Kyle Caudill, Lonnie Jackson, Eddie Odio, and Dennis Clifford in Boston College's 2011 recruiting class.
