The best available prospect in New England is now off the board.
New Hampton School guard Mika Adams-Woods committed to Cincinnati on Thursday. The upstate New York native had originally signed with Nebraska in the fall but re-opened his recruitment following the coaching change and considering places including Minnesota, George Mason, and FIU.

A longtime product of the Albany City Rocks, he was a key part of their foundation last year as they proved themselves to be one of the best teams in the Nike EYBL, only falling to the eventual champions, Team Takeover.
This winter, he got a chance to play a more signature role at New Hampton, where he was equally impressive, putting up big numbers for the Huskies all season long. He earned First-Team All-NEPSAC honors while averaging 19 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals while shooting 43% from behind the three-point line.
Adams-Woods is a long and skilled lefty guard who is capable of playing on and off the ball. His versatility is one of his best assets as he can flourish in a variety of roles.
He becomes one of the first players to commit to new Bearcats head coach John Brannen.
Below were some of his highlights at the time of his original commitment to Nebraska.
