Adams-Woods Big Ten Bound
New Hampton School and Albany City Rocks point guard Mika Adams-Woods announced his verbal commitment to Nebraska on Saturday following an official visit to the Big Ten school's campus.
Adams-Woods announced his decision via his twitter account.
Dreams Do Come True! Thank you to all the coaches that have recruited me throughout this process, family, and teammates who stuck by my side through the ups and downs. I am happy to announce that I have committed to the University of Nebraska#GBR #HuskerNation ⚪️ pic.twitter.com/TxXoFFer0q

Adams-Woods wasn't Nebraska's only commitment of the weekend as they solidified next year's backcourt with a pledge from junior college standout Jervay Green. Together, they'll join another former New England prep product in Thomas Allen in the Huskers' backcourt next season.
While Adams-Woods trimmed his list to seven schools following the July recruiting period, Nebraska was the first high-major program to make him a priority, a decision that has already proven to be prophetic after a number of other high-majors expressed new interest this fall.
Adams-Woods is a big southpaw point guard who is long, skilled, and efficient on both ends with a very mature floor game. While he is a true point and very reliable decision maker, his size, shot-making ability, and unselfishness allow him to slide off the ball and play next to another ball-handler at times, as he did this summer and will likely due again this coming season at New Hampton.
