A new era in Elite 75 basketball

For the last eight years, since the New England Recruiting Report was first founded in 2006 as the first news outlet of its kind, the New England Elite 75 Showcases have hosted the most talented prospects the region has to offer including the likes of Andre Drummond, Michael Carter-Williams, Erik Murphy, Nerlens Noel, Kaleb Tarczewski, and many, many more.

What began as one showcase has grown into a series of three showcases and two camps that collectively provide every top prospect in New England, grades 6 – 12, with a stage to prove their abilities.

Simultaneously, the New England Recruiting Report has continued to distinguish itself as the foremost authority on New England basketball with various new initiatives including the creation of HoopRootz in the junior elite division, our partnership with Cox Sports, and the creation of NERR-TV.

Now, the New England Recruiting Report continues to raise the bar with the arrival of a new generation of Elite 75 basketball, which will continue to include the region’s most prestigious showcases and camps, all of which will help to determine the ELITE 75, an expansion of the NERR rankings which will rank the 75 best basketball prospects in New England regardless of class!

In total, the new Elite 75 brand will include:

The ELITE 75 rankings – One collective measurement of the truly elite prospects in New England who have the chance to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Drummond, Carter-Williams, and Noel while writing the next chapter in the history of New England basketball.  The first ELITE 75 will debut next week following the announcement of updated rankings in the classes of 2015, 2016, and 2017;

The Elite 75 College Showcase – A summer showcase intended exclusively for the region’s upperclassmen looking to make a name for themselves at the scholarship level. This summer’s event will return on Monday, June 30th at Brandeis University;

Elite 75 Frosh/Soph Edition – A fall showcase which will continue to measure the region’s best underclassmen against one another all while playing a pivotal role as we search for New England’s ELITE 75;

Junior Elite 75 Showcase – A spring showcase in collaboration with HoopRootz, the official junior elite division of NERR, which provides an early glimpse at some of the top up and coming talent the region has to offer;

Elite 75 Stars of Tomorrow Camps – A summer camp, with both overnight and day options, offering not just the same levels of exposure prospects have come to expect in our showcases but also an increased opportunity for education and instruction.  This summer's camps will be held on June 28th - 30th for rising 9th and 10th graders and July 11th - 13th for rising 6th - 8th graders.
