2026 Prospects to Watch at the #NEHF

The annual Northeast Hoops Festival tips off this weekend. We will be highlighting various prospects throughout the week to keep an eye on. First up are some 2026 prospects. 

Windston Legentus 5’11 Guard (Mass Rivals/Brimmer & May): Legentus is a multidimensional scoring guard who defends and makes plays for others. He currently holds Division One scholarship offers from Albany, Stonehill, Boston U, and Florida Gulf Coast. 

Ben Ahmed 6’9 Big Man (BABC/Putnam Science): Ahmed is a wide bodied big man with good footwork, hands, and touch on the block. He currently holds Division One scholarship offers from Iowa and Akron. 

AJ Dybantsa 6’8 Forward (Expressions Elite/St. Sebastian’s School): Dybantsa is an athletic forward with length, creation ability, and long term shooting upside. He currently holds a Division One scholarship offer from Boston College. 

Deron “Ron Ron” Rippey 6’1 Guard (New Heights Lightning/Blair Academy): Rippey is a crafty guard who hits open treys, finds teammates for good looks, and causes havoc as an on-ball defender. He currently holds Division One scholarship offers from Fordham, Hofstra, and Oklahoma State.  

Chidi Nwigwe 6’6 Wing (Riverside Hawks/Bergen Catholic): Nwigwe is a bouncy wing who can score at multiple levels. He currently holds Division One scholarship offers from Fordham, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Rhode Island, Rutgers, and St. Bonaventure. 

Imahri Wooten 6’4 Guard (New York Rens/Redemption Christian): Wooten is a big guard who defends, hits long-range shots, and even helps out on the glass. He currently holds Division One scholarship offers from Arizona State, Albany, and IUPUI.
