2026 NE Frosh/Soph #E75 - Best of the North Guards pt. 2
Continuing with more of the backcourt pieces we saw at Mass Premier on the night of the 11th.
Aiden Richard, Brooks School: Richards has a big role in his sights at Brooks this upcoming season which was evident in our viewings of him this past June in scholastic play. The six foot guard from Tewksbury is extremely skilled at scoring the baketball and can do it at multiple levels. He has a tight handle to create for himself in different areas, and is growing his athleticism as well. He actually had his first in-game dunk during the event, and as a class of 2030 prospect, is certainly a player to make note of.
Jake Lofstrom, Tabor: The lefty gaurd announced his transfer to Tabor Academy back in March and is ready to make an impact. Lofstrom has shown he is a very confident shooter from range, where he has a quick trigger both off the catch and dribble from far out. A dual sport athlete (football), is able to work through contact, and is very creative getting downhill. To go along with a diverse offensive game, Jake makes the hustle plays and is a capable defender with active hands collecting both steals and some blocks.
Logan McConchie, Woburn High School: McConchie is very comfortable around the rim, and is able to finish through contact, and can navigate his way through the lane. His form on his jumpshot is consistent and has shown the ability to shoot from both the midrange and beyond the arc. Looking to see more of his shooting and scoring prowess this upcoming season at Woburn HS.
Terrell Rias, Lewiston high: Terrell Rias has a strong frame which allows him to play bigger than he is. He is able to get to the rim and finish with both hands, Rias works well low for a guard. If Rias adds more quickness to his game and expands his ball handling capabilities, to his strong frame, he can be a major contributor for Lewiston High for the next few seasons.
Josh Harris, Newman School: Josh Harris pairs a tight and creative handle with a quick first step, which allows him to get to the lane and finish at the rim, he has also shown to be comfortable taking the midrange pull up and inviting contact both around the rim and to create space. Harris also offers the ability to shoot the three which helps space the floor. He is joining a highly competitive Newman program that has been known for their development.
Brandon Doherty, Lynnfield High: A top shooting threat for the Middlesex Magic in 15 UAA play, Doherty shot just under 40% from range this past summer, displaying his elite shooting ability. He has also shown the ability to score on all levels, but excels from deep. He also offers great court vision, and should play a major role in Lynnfield HS's success this upcoming season while he looks to really build on his strong summer and make some noise in the MIAA.
Ezinna Onujiogu, Boston Trinity Academy: Ezinna Onujiogu has had a very impressive spring and summer leading up to his sophomore season at Boston Trinity Academy. Posting many impressive outings, Ezinna plays at his own pace and can dictate the tempo of the game. He excels at getting to the rim where he sees the floor well allowing him to get into the lane. He has shown athletic upside, and the ability to play above the rim. Making him a name to watch going forward if he continues to grow his athleticism and show more of what he offers on the offensive end.
Brody Angle, Andover High School: Brody can score the ball on all three levels, though most of the damage is done around the rim and from three. He has shown to be comfortable finishing through contact, but can variate using the floater. Angle also has shown the ability to split the passing lanes and collect steals on the defensive side of the ball.
Joe Colagrossi, Masters Academy International: Colagrossi offers a very smooth handle allowing him to create space to get a shot off or drive. Joe is comfortable three point shooter showing he can do so off the dribble and catch, he can also work in the midrange more so off the dribble. The 6'3 guard is also a solid defender as he can collect steals and blocks.
Hudson Bradshaw, St Johnsbury Academy: Bradshaw is a bigger guard to keep an eye out for at annual VPA machine St. Johnsbury Academy. He's 6'3" with some slashing skills in his toolbelt and looks to position himself as a college prospect with continued development.
Eziah Kozlowski, Bishop Fenwick: Kozlowski showed some potential at the Junior Elite 75 back in March of this year and continues to improve as a prospect in the class of 2030. He's a good outside shooter that can get into shots of his own off the bounce, or serve as threat to shoot right off the catch. He's got size at 6'3" and with continued development as a guard is one to keep track of.
Michael Hayes, La Salle Academy: Michael Hayes shows the ability to score on all three levels. From beyond the arc he operates more so off the catch and gets his shot off quick. In the midrange and paint, he works off a dribble drive where he creates space using a bump in the mid, and can take contact around the rim. Another underclassmen piece at LaSalle Academy we're tracking.
Robbie Sanicola, Windham High School: Son of a coach is an often used scouting term, but certainly shows in Sanicola's game as he plays with a very high IQ. He has really good vision to connect the dots as a passer and make things happen for his team, while also bringing a high motor and competitiveness. His continued development is worth noting as he joins Windham HS this year.
Kench Emadamerho, Manchester Memorial High School: Kench Emadamerho is looking to be the next name out of the city of Manchester to make some noise. He can shoot the ball off catch, and plays hard on D, giving him some upside as a two-way threat with size at 6'4".
MJ Keough, Worcester Academy: Shooter, MJ Keough is a great shooter, primarily working off the catch he has a very quick trigger. Playing off the ball he is patient and picks his spots. Keough also isn't shy to make the hustle plays that lead to winning either, and looks to serve as a nice piece down the line in Worcester.
Desmond Baker, Marionapolis Prep: Desmond Baker announced back in June he would be attending Marianapolis Prep. He brings a diverse offensive bag to this team, where he can score on all three levels, and from an extended three point range, and can finish above the rim as he is a good athlete, but Baker can play on both ends as he offers very active hands on the defensive end.
Sire Freeman, E.O. Smith: Sire Freeman has great size for a freshman guard offering a longer build. Freeman has displayed the ability to shoot the three, where he does so both off the catch and off the dribble comfortably. He shows confidence handling the ball, but also has the IQ to work off the ball as well. He will be one to watch entering highschool, to see how his game adjusts and matures this upcoming season.
