2025 North #E75 College Showcase Recap Pt. 2

More recaps from our night at Proctor that brought out a vast number of college coaches and potential college prospects begins below

Ty Tabales, New Hampton - Tabales is ready to step into a primary scoring role in his third season with the New Hampton Huskies, and has looked the part. We've seen Tabales stand out as a shotmaker over the years, but now he will be able to do so on a consistent basis. He's gotten more comfortable serving as the lead guard in grassroots play, and can direct traffic. Noticeable improvement in his speed and handling abilities have been made as of late. Will put up numbers this winter.

Jayden Harrington, New Hampton - Harrington has served as notable piece for the Huskies in his two seasons thus far, and looks to put on a big senior campaign. The wing's development physically caught our eye, most notably in the speed he plays with, a translatable asset in his game. He's a knockdown shooter off the catch that also makes great secondary reads off the ball, and is a top name in the New Hampshire 2026 class.

Brode Frink, Proctor - Coming off of a good season with Proctor Academy this past winter, Frink has continued to impress this Spring and Summer. At 6'5 he has a unique skill set and is able to rebound at a high level as well as drive to the rim with a purpose. His awarness when driving to the rim is elite and he consistently makes the right decision. He plays phiscially in the post on both ends of the floor.

Sam Owusu-Aduomi, Paramus Catholic - Making the long drive from New Jersey, Owusu-Aduomi really caught our eye in his showing. The 6'5" big guard has a very versatile scoring skill set led by his ability to knock down three-pointers. He made a number of finishes in the lane, most notably using his left hand, as well as converting second chance opportunities. He has a creative handle, with a quick hesi cross to get his shots off in space.

Zach Romich, Kimball Union - Romich's improvement to become a flat out knockdown shooter is very impressive. He's always had a sound game, with the ability to get to the basket, but you can definitely see the work that was put in for him to become a more consistent shooter. He has a fluid release and gets right into his shooting pocket both right off the dribble or the catch. With playmaking and guard skills, Romich can be expected to play a sizeable role at KUA this year.

Ahmed Rabie, Proctor - The big man's footwork in the post is next level. On the defensive side he blcoks many shots and transitions the ball effectivly. He creates space with his size to space the floor at a high level, as well as having a soft touch around the rim. This year Rabie will join Proctor Academy for a Post Grad year where he certainly attract some scholarship schools.

Diing Maiwen, EO Little - The ultra-athletic wing plans to do a postgraduate year, looking to solidify himself as a scholarship prospect. Maiwen's been on a tear this spring with RI Elite, and is just scratching the surface of his potential. His defensive prowess stands out as he's switchable, and can put a lid on the rim. On the offensive end, he has tons of bounce to throw down big time dunks, with budding self creation skills off the bounce starting to show.

Matthew Jernigan, Oyster River - Jernigan put himself on the map this past winter after a monster year at Oyster River High School. The big guard plays very fluid and can get to the basket as a slasher consistently. He's got bounce to get up over the defense and flush down dunks, while he also showed a knack for collecting offensive rebounds and converting put-backs in his showing. His handling and ability to pull-up for jump shots is notable, showing the upside he will look to continue to channel.

Emmanuel Fosu, Proctor - The rising junior guard has caught our eye in the past with the level of energy and motor he plays with, but in his Elite 75 outing it was the things he did as a playmaker that really stood out. Fosu was able to generate a ton of space off the dribble, but made sure to examine the floor and fins his teammates. Off the ball, his cutting to the basket stood out as well as his ability to score it at the rim.

Musa Kasanga, Vermont - Kasanga's had a standout grassroots season in the Under Armour Rise, leading his squad in scoring. He excelled in this setting with his smooth jumpshot, getting to his spots in the mid-range and beyond. His ability to crash and capitalize on put-back opportunities stood out as well. He's also a quick defender that uses his body and puts in the work.

Wesley Waddles, New Hampton - The incoming postgraduate looks to be one of the notable new names in the New England region. Standing at 6'6", Waddle brings a great defensive presence with length and mobility to switch across a number of positions on the floor. He stands out notably as a slasher with footwork inside, and can step out and knock down standstill treys. His playmaking stood out in his outing as well as the level of energy he brings to the court.

Stetson Merritt, New Hampton - The skilled guard is a big add to the Huskies this season and the New England class of 2027 as a whole. Merritt stands at 6'3" bringing some size as an off-ball guard who can really score it. He rises into his jumpers with a fluidity to it and converts at multiple levels of the court. As a shot creator his handle is impressive and generates space from the defense. College coaches will definitely be monitoring his development up north.

Mychael Brown, Proctor - The rising sophomore out of the New York area has a ton of upside at the guard spot. He has a quick first step which allows him to use his high IQ to create good oppurtunites for his team. On the defesnive end he plays with a high motor and moves quick in transition. This spring he has had a good showing with the NY Jayhawks and will look to build his resume next season at Proctor Academy.

Connor McGowan, Bishop Guertin - McGowan entered the event with a ton of momentum following a big season in the NHIAA. The guard showed off his scoring chops from multiple levels of the court as he finished inside and hit three's throughout the night. While he can put the ball in the net, his quick hands on the defensive end are notable as he forces deflections that lead to turnovers.

Myles Dehaney, Proctor - Dehaney has been tearing up the Toronto basketball scence in recent years and will look to bring the same energy to Proctor next season. He is a quick and shifty guard that has a deep bag of tricks. He can shoot very well from beyond the arc and has smart playmaking abilities.

Finn Brennan, Holderness - Brennan does a lot of great things on the court as a 6'5" wing in the class of 2026. His ability to get to the rim with pace, and knowing when to decelerate to get into defenders stood out as he finished consistently. He operated well out of screens, as both a roller or a threat to fade out to the perimeter. Another notable aspect of his game is his ability to guard multiple positions, using his quick feet and strong upper body.

Andrew Huff, Proctor - Huff was a consistent threat for a squad full of Proctor Academy prospects in the event. The 6'4" wing had a good night as a scorer, showing off his ability to make things happen at multiple levels of the floor. He finished inside multiple times and stepped outside to hit corner three's in bunches for his squad.
