2024 Vermont Rankings Released
We will be releasing our updated Vermont 2024 rankings next. They consist of only players who are returning to the region. Once we have evaluated all the incoming prep prospects, we will have a new release.
The number one spot was earned by Vermont Academy forward Chike Ndefo. He has a high motor while also being one of the more versatile defenders in New England’s 2024 class. Ndefo’s Vermont Academy teammate Jayden Watkins comes in at two. He is a quick playmaking guard who is a nuisance when guarding on the ball. They will both be key components for a Wildcats squad looking to take a leap in NEPSAC AAA.
Tucker Tharpe from Champlain Valley Union HS is next at three. He is a sturdy framed forward who can score in the post and rebound at a solid rate. Zach Davis who attends Colchester HS holds down the four spot. He is a two time Dream Dozen Outstanding Underclassmen selection. As a forward, his game extends out to the perimeter. Davis also stars on the diamond and golf course.
Rounding out the list at five is Drew Bessette. He is a forward from Rice Memorial who has sprouted up to 6’7. Bessette was an integral part of the Green Knight’s VPA D1 State Title team, earning a spot on the Dream Dozen Outstanding Underclassmen list.
The VPA is not usually filled with size, but this trio is poised to lead one of the biggest classes in recent memory.
