2018 ZG Battle for the Belt preview
Zero Gravity's 2018 fall circuit culminates this weekend with the annual Battle for the Belt and while each weekend has brought a mixture of some of the region's top teams, all the stars will be out this weekend for the fall's top championship.
The varsity division alone features 70 teams alone including the likes of BABC, Expressions, Mass Rivals, Middlesex Magic, Mass Select, Rise Above, Boston Bobcats, Wright Way Skills, New England Storm, and numerous others. Many of those programs will go head-to-head on Saturday with some of the day's featured match-ups including Rise Above and Middlesex Magic at noon, Rise Above and the Rivals at 2pm, and BABC agasint Mass Premier at 9pm. It all heads towards championship Sunday with the final game scheduled for a 6pm tip.

The 10th grade division is no less talented with nearly 60 more teams in action. BABC will again look to defend their championship in this bracket while they'll be challenged by many of the same programs. With Middlesex Magic, Team New England, Boston Bobcats, Mass Rivals, Expressions Red, New England Storm, Mass Select, and NE Blizz all hoping to play their way into Sunday's bracket play.

With 75 more teams in action in the 9th grade division, this tournament is absolutely loaded with depth from top to bottom in each age bracket. BABC will be looking to repeat history and complete the sweep of the high school divisions but you can bet that Middlesex Magic, who has won their share of fall championship hardware, will have to plenty to say about that.
