2014 Rankings Updated

We’re now more than a month into the prep school season and well underway in the public school leagues and that has given us plenty of opportunity to get out and see the top prospects in New England.

Those weeks of evaluations have led to updated rankings in the class of 2014, which now include post-graduates and other players in their first year in the region.

We’ve also lost some players, most noticeably Chris McCullough who now stars for IMG Academy in Florida.  That means a new number one is in the books and Wilbraham and Monson big man Goodluck Okonoboh holds that title for the time being, although it’s a race that is expected to continue throughout the season with Abdul-Malik Abu and Isaac Copeland both giving chase.

Brewster Academy’s Jonah Bolden and Devonte Graham are the highest ranked of the newly added products while other newcomers to the list include the likes of Notre Dame Prep’s Detrick Mostella and Daxter Miles, Wilbraham’s Max Hoeztel, St. Thomas More’s Yuta Watanabe and Eric Paschall, and Cheshire Academy’s Wilfredo Rodriguez.

Cane Broome headlines the list of players who have jumped up in recent months, along with others like Central Catholic sniper Tyler Nelson, South Kent big man Dusan Perovic and guard Schadrac Casimir.
