1st Offer a Big One for Brent
In most cases, the recruiting process is a gradual escalation that starts slowly and builds momentum over time, but Kimball Union rising senior guard Malcolm Brent is proving himself to be the exception to that rule.
Brent picked up his first division I offer on Thursday from Ole Miss, skipping right to the high-major level after generating a steady amount of low to mid-major interest throughout the spring.
The six-foot-four guard is currently in Reading, Pennsylvania participating in the Hoop Group Elite Camp, where he is differentiating himself both with his size and lethal three-point range.
After the conclusion of camp on Friday, Brent will immediately head to Ardsley, New York where he and his Metro Boston teammates will begin their summer run at the BasketBull Summer Championships before they head to Orlando for the AAU 11th grade Super Showcase and National Championships.
